Solo exhibition of Andrey Gorbunov, Saint-Petersburg based artist, "The strengthening ribs" will be held in Yekaterinburg for the first time. The whole project was developed exclusively for the Ural Vision Gallery 

Andrey Gorbunov works as an artist-anatomist: his mind is immersed in the hidden connections between things and events permitting to come to the unobvious logic of the associational comparisons which is the basis of art - the universal way of understanding of the world around.

The construction as a system of interaction of all the elements in one unity underlies everything created both by human and nature. Though, every system has its tensile strength and in case of excessive external effect every construction would fall into pieces. To prevent this disintegration there are additional protection elements, which are responsible for structural durability and its firmness. These elements are called “The strengthening ribs”.

The exhibition will take place from March, 31 st till July 2nd in Ural Vision Gallery, 10 Sheinkman St.

Mon is a day off

The ticket will cost 100 rub for students and pupils, 200 for adults and free of charge for pensioners. 18+
